Great Adventure



OK, a couple weeks ago we took the kids to Six Flags Great Adventure....,The twins got their very first season pass! They were very excited! Well while i took Jr on Skull Mountain, Norm took them to get their faces painted. They were jsut shy of tall enough to go on the ride! Carlie the Cat & Matty the Pirate!

beef Stroganoff

beef Stroganoff

8 ounces uncooked egg noodles
1/4 up flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/4 pounds beef tenderloin steaks, or tips, (even stew meat or ground beef works)
4 tablespoons butter , divided
3/4 cup chopped onion
12 ounces sliced mushrooms ( i leave these out)
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed beef broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cupo sour cream (room Temperature)
fresh chives (optional)

1. cook noodles according to package directions, drain and keep arm.

2. Combine flour, salt pepper in a large resalable food storage bag.
cut steaks into 1 1/2 inch 1/2 inch strips; add half the beef to flour mixture. Seal bag; shake to coat well, repeat with remaining meat. Discard flour mix.

3. Melt one tablespoon butter in large nonstick skillet over med-high heat. Add half the meat, stir and cook until brown on all sides, transfer to bowl, repeat with 1 tablespoon butter and remaining meat. transfer to same bowl and set aside.

4. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in same skillet over med-high heat. Add onion, cook 5 mins, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms; cook and stir 5 mins or until tender.

5. Stir in broth, tomato paste, & Worcestershire sauce ; bring to a boil, scrapping up any browned bits.

6. Return beef and any accumulated juice to the skilet; cook about 5 mins or until heated through and sauce thickens. Stir in sour cream; heat through. DO NOT BOIL.

7. SERVE BEEF MIXTURE OVER NOODLES. Garnish with chives.

Grissom

Well, last week, we found a dog. Got it groomed, took her to the vet just generally took care of her. Today the owner's showed up, turns out someone my mom worked with knew the dogs owner. Well we had gotten use to having a dog, and were all heart broken , so what did Norm do?? Took us out to buy a dog of our own. Meet Grissom, he's 2 months old, and a Pomeranian/pekinese...... he's just a giant FLUFF BALL!

Bubble Time



This is one of the twins favorite past times! They can spend hours outside with the bubbles. We have regular bubbles, a bubble machine, bubble guns, GIANT bubble wands! If they make it for bubbles the Munchkins love it!

Hooray For Hollywood!




Horray For Hollywood was the theme for fine arts night at school. My son who is maybe the most UNCOORDINATED child ever born, auditioned and got a part in the production number.
He usually just stands areound, but this time he actually did the dancing! All the children did wonderfully!

Hungarian Goulash casserole

Hungarian Goulash casserole

1 lb. ground pork ( i am using ground beef)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tablespoon veg. oil
1 cup sour cream (divided)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 can (10 1/2 oz) cream of celery soup (undiluted)
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon paprika
1 package (12 ounces) egg noodles cooked & drained

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray 3 qt casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

2. combine meat, salt, nutmeg + pepper. Shape into 1 inch balls. Heat oil in larege skillet over med-high heat. Add meatballs; cook 10 minutes or until browned on all sides , and no longer pink in the center. Remove meatballs from skillet; discard drippings.

3. Stir together 1/4 cup sour cream + cornstarch in small bowl. Spoon into same skillet. Add remaining 3/4 cps sour cream, soup, milk & paprika. Stir until smooth!

4. spread noodles in prepared casserole dish. arrange meatballs over noodles, and cover with sauce. bake 20 minutes or until hot.

Flea market



Well, Sundays are Flea Market/Farmer's Market day, we go there for our produce! Gotta support local farmers! and we also Visit Mr. Pickel, and We're Nuts 4 you! gotta have my pickels and sesame sticks... Sometimes we get Pizza there for lunch...It's so yummy! So are the chicken Kabobs from the mexican stand!

This is my most recent jewlery adventure! i found a 5 charm package, and made this for my mom! One of the Charms says Believe, and that is my dad's motto. So it sreamed MOM! I want to make some more and maybe set up a small online shop!

You're FIRED

yeah, it's been forever since I posted! But a lot has happened, most recently was a few weeks back...HaHa I got fired! Best part is i don't even really care. i've wanted to leave for MONTHS now. I jsut always felt bad. Plus now that they fired me, i qualify for some unemployment
